Weather Alert: Severe thunderstorms Monday evening in foothills of northern Oregon’s Blue Mountains

At 6:32 p.m. Monday, the National Weather Service issued a severe weather warning for severe thunderstorms until 7:15 p.m. in the foothills of the northern Blue Mountains in Oregon.

Residents can expect wind gusts of up to 80 km/h.

“At 6:32 p.m., Doppler radar was tracking a severe thunderstorm over Pendleton, moving northeast at 25 mph,” the weather service said. “Gusting winds could down trees and throw debris around unsecured objects.”
