Eduardo Noriega, Oscar Jaenada and More Join Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon

AMC Network Announces First Spanish-Speaking Cast for Season 3 The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixoncurrently filming in Spain.

Eduardo Noriega, Oscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay will be series regulars, joining Candela Saitta and Hugo Arbues in recurring roles. The cast follows world-weary Georgia zombie apocalypse survivor turned European backpacker Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus, as he treks to Spain for the third season of the successful series. This is a change from the first and upcoming second seasons of the series, which are set in France. Noriega has had film roles in Thesis, Open Your Eyes, Wolf, Devil’s Backbone AND Viewpoint.

Jaenada’s credits include, among others: Camarón: When Flamenco Became a Legend AND Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Masangkay made her film debut 1898: The Last Philippines AND Platform and also appeared in Imperial Code and recently Valley of Shadows.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is in production in Madrid and other locations in Spain, offering a post-apocalyptic backdrop. The latest season finds Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier continuing to try to somehow get home to those they love, even as the path back takes them further and further astray, through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions, as they witness the impact of the Walker apocalypse.

The second season for The Living Dead The new series will premiere on September 29 in the US on AMC and AMC+.

The third season will premiere in 2025 and is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunner David Zabel, Reedus, McBride, Greg Nicotero, Brian Bockrath, Angela Kang, Jason Richman, Dan Percival and Steve Squillante. Silvia Aráez and Jesús de la Vega of Ánima Stillking have also signed on as executive producers for this season.
