Yoga guru arrested for raping NRI woman over past life relationship

Police said on Wednesday that a yoga teacher was arrested on charges of raping a non-resident Indian (NRI), alleging that they had a relationship in a previous life.

The suspect, Pradeep Ullal (54) of Kevala Foundation in Mallenahalli, was charged based on a complaint filed by a woman.

The victim, originally from Punjab and now living in California, said she was sexually assaulted during three visits to the yoga guru between 2021 and 2022.
