Woman and children found dead in West Haven

WEST HAVEN, Utah — A woman and three children were found dead inside a vehicle in West Haven Tuesday evening.

Sergeant Sean Endsley of the Weber County Sheriff’s Office said the 911 call came from a “family member” at 9:47 p.m. Officers then arrived on scene and confirmed that a 32-year-old female, a 4-year-old male, a 2-year-old female and a 1-year-old female were all dead inside the vehicle.

Sergeant Endsley said there was evidence of gunshot wound. However, the cause and manner of death are undetermined at this time.

“Investigators are still working the circumstances surrounding these deaths,” he said. “(They) are still working on active leads and processing the scene.”

Police have blocked off the area near 1800 S 2300 W. Police are asking residents to avoid the area while they investigate.
