Police found man shot to death in townhouse in Houston’s Fourth Ward

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department said a man was found dead inside a Fourth Ward townhouse Wednesday night.

It happened in the 1400 block of Cook Street at Wilson Street.

Police said they were called to the home to check on the man’s well-being after family members were unable to reach him. When they arrived, they found the front door unlocked.

When they went inside, they found the man dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators are heading to the scene and will be looking for witnesses or surveillance video.
